Michelle’s Musikgarten Manila is owned by Ms.
Michelle Nikki Junia. Michelle has a degree in Music
Education in voice (cum laude) at the UST
Conservatory of Music. Michelle’s love for teaching
music and stage performance started at an early age
of 15. Her first music school was “The Discover Zone.”
After graduating from College of Music, her dream of
building a music school continued on and so Stardev Music
School was born. Stardev, formerly located in Makati, has moved to
a bigger venue at the Paragon Plaza bldg. in Mandaluyong.

Five years later, Michelle’s aspiration in music education is a
notch higher. She trained in Chicago, USA, on early childhood music
education. Now a US-licensed Musikgarten educator. Michelle offers group
music classes for newborns to kids of 5 years of age here in Manila.

Michelle was also trained in California, USA, by the most sought-after-
vocal coach in Hollywood: Seth Riggs. Seth’s students are virtually a
“who’s who” of the world’s top performers -- Michael Jackson, Madonna,
Barbra Streisand, Prince, Michael Bolton, Anita Baker, Natalie Cole,
Stevie Wonder, and many more. He is known for his technique called
“speech-level-singing” (singing with ease, as if like talking).

As a child singer and being an original member of the 14K (Ryan Cayabyab’s scholars). Michelle has performed all over the Philippines as well as in key Asian countries and in the US. She has performed in prestigious venues, including the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York. Michelle still continues to perform in concerts here in Manila. She is not only a teacher, but also an active performer still. She even released a record album last year of 2009, entitled Back in Time by Michelle.” Michelle was hailed by the media for her captivating music prowess and aptly accorded a title as the “singer with a mission.”
